Remedeine - acrylics
This constructivist style series of illustrations were commissioned on the cusp of the digital art era, so were all hand drawn with airbrush colour blocks in acrylics.
The hand drawn technique can create a certain randomness in the art, which is pleasing to the eye, which can be killed stone dead by digital art if one does not take care. These days I would do the black art by hand but then block in the colour digitally but still trying to maintain a grain and colour bleed to emulate that traditional art media feel.
Which can be done using an application like Corel Painter.
